I killed their queen and soon I’ll claim her throne…

As a half-vampire born of scandal, I fled the coven before I could be executed for the crime of existing.

I built a peaceful human life, found love, and thought I was finally safe. I was wrong.

When the vampire queen captured my betrothed and turned him in the most brutal way possible, she sealed her fate. Driving a stake through her black heart was only the beginning.

Now the court’s bloodthirsty nobles are vying for her throne. Perfect. I’ll slip into their bloody competition wearing a disguise and let them crown me their new sovereign.

Enemies lurk in every shadow. But little do many of the monsters around me realize—it’s their bones that will pave my ascent.

To conquer the coming trials, I have to do more than pretend to be one of them. I must claim mates to empower me.

Zane, my betrothed, chips away at my defenses. His fangs only sharpen his devotion to me.

Finn, my childhood friend, aches for the chaos I plan to unleash.

Mathias, the stern overseer ruling in the queen’s absence, should be my enemy. Instead, I’m drawn to him with a pull that could cost me everything.

Noir, the rival coven’s notorious assassin, helps me out of sheer ennui. I shouldn’t trust him. I definitely shouldn’t want him.

Each fanged kiss and sip of depravity is more addictive than the last. Yet nothing tastes sweeter than my enemies’ blood.

Thirst is the first book of a dark vampire romantasy trilogy featuring a strong main character who has more than one love interest and doesn’t choose between them. This book has a cliffhanger ending and is intended for audiences 18+.

GET TO KNOW THE CHARACTERS

Delve into the rich narratives of the diverse personalities within ‘Thirst.’ Each individual faces distinct trials that shape their lives and intertwine their fates. Unearth their histories, realize their challenges, and see how they contribute to Sidney’s epic story.

Sidney

Sidney is defined by the two distinctive sides that she inherited from her vampire father and human mother. She was raised by her vampire family for the first part of her life, but treated as less than for her “dirty” dhampir blood.

When the opportunity arose for her to run away, she took it, and lived amongst the vampire slayers in the Temple of Aetherius instead. In her mixed heritage, they saw potential, and trained her to become a weapon. She learned the sciences as well, and became calculated and clinical in her pursuit of innovation.

Years later, when the queen of the vampires steals her betrothed, Zane, and turns him into a vampire, Sidney picks up her stakes and swears revenge…

Zane

Zane used to be a sunshine-y follower of Aetherius, God of Innovation and patron of vampire slayers. That was, until a vampire queen took him captive and turned him into a vampire. Now shut away from the light he once revered, he has turned to harnessing the darkness instead. Shadows dance at the command of his magic.

He still dreams of his betrothed, Sidney, but he knows her past, and how much she hates vampires…

Finn

Finn was a friend of Sidney’s when she lived with her vampire family. After a particularly bad illness as a child, he went deaf. They learned sign language together. But when Sidney escaped, she didn’t take her friend with her.

She returns to find him turned into a vampire, but still a servant due to his disability and his magical connection to animals. She wonders if he’ll still help her take down their mutual enemies from within…

There’s a brightness to Finn’s humor that makes it hard to stay in a bad mood around him. He is a kind and genuine vampire who always makes sure Sidney is taken care of first. He’s Nicole’s favorite main character.

Mathias

In the wake of the vampire queen’s passing, the politician Mathias took control as Lord Regent. Tasked by a mysterious and deadly artifact to find the next queen, he calls for a set of trials to locate a vampiress who is both deadly and ruthless. She would have to be, to be the last woman standing. And he intends to stand by her side as one of her kings.

He finds himself drawn to a mysterious candidate who shows no fear of his power. In her eyes, he sees death. His death. Unless he can orchestrate events so she doesn’t become queen…

Noir

An assassin from a rival vampire coven, Noir remains the most mysterious of all. One could say that’s because he’s had a long, storied life as a vampire. Others would say that’s because he lost a few marbles along the way.

Plagued by ennui and full of anecdotes about things he neither explains nor confirms really happened, there’s one thing for sure: there’s never a dull moment when Noir is around. He’s Ella’s favorite character.

Talk about different than any other vampire book out there!! Dhampir Sidney is the granddaughter of the current Queen Nemea and lets just say not a beloved granddaughter Shes more of an entertainment to the Queen Atleast until years later where she is trained as a slayer and takes out her revenge and then enters the Queen Trials to become the new Queen!! All under a witches disguise!! But after running into her chdhood friend. And her fiance, both turned now, can she fool them or will they willingly help her plans? Also she seems to be getting a rather cold welcome back at the Slayer hideout during her check ins?! WTH?! This was their plan and thats how they treat her? Yet now it seems shes more at home with the Vampires she was raised to hate and trained to kill than with the Slayers!! What if truly can win to become Queen and makes a change that can benefit all? Only time will tell... But when a candidate shes against starts to unravel her secret its a fight to the death to keep it under wraps!!! Loved this!!! Can't wait for the next book!!!

Not sure you’re completely ready for this absolutely twisted story that is Thirst! We start off with FMC Sidney who is a dhampir who grew up in the House of the Sanguine. Because she was half vampire and half human she was outcast and abused. We have moments throughout the story where Sidney will have flashbacks of her childhood. Because of this we experience her journey of childhood and what she endured. We journey through the story as she meets up with her betrothed and an old childhood friend. Sidney joined the trials to become queen and what she as well as the other contestants have to go through will keep you on the edge of your seat. I absolutely love Sidney and her personality. The story is packed with action, drama, and suspense. It will have you on the edge and ends in a cliffhanger that has me absolutely excited to see what is going to happen next. This is absolutely a great read.

This is the first time I've read anything by this author and I am now obsessed. I will be looking for more of her books. Thirst sucked me in immediately and I could not put it down. The plot was amazing and the men were delicious. I can't decide who of her devotions are my fav but I feel like Noir is definitely going to keep things interesting. This book ended way before I was ready and I can not wait to read the next one. If you love a badas* female, with a small harem of men who are protective and completely devoted you will love this book!
